Gardai preparing for the Ploughing this morning
Gardaí renewed their call for Ploughing visitors to switch off satallite navigation systems and follow the dedicated routes.
They posted an image of their members preparing for the event this morning.
Gardai will be on duty both in and around the National Ploughing Championships over the next three days.
They posted instructions to social media together with links to the site layout and the traffic plan for the event.
Gardai will also be giving out wristbands for children to help them locate their parents should they get lost.
