A child was taken to hospital following a collision involving cars and a school bus in Portlaoise this morning.
Gardai said “a child was taken to hospital as a precaution” following the collision and the N80 at Rossleighan at around 9.30pm. Gardaí said the child’s injuries are thought to be minor in nature.
Diversions were put in place and a section of the N80 was closed this morning while emergency services dealt with the crash. The crash involved a bus and three cars.
Portlaoise Garda said the road is now clear and reopened.
