Main Street, Portlaoise
Laois Gardaí were called in to unblock traffic after a truck was unable to drive down Main Street in Portlaoise this afternoon.
Gardaí said when the truck was unable to get past parked vehicles, more traffic arrived and the truck was unable to go forward or reverse out causing a blockage on the one way street.
Gardai responded and traffic had to be halted at Market Square in Portlaoise while the vehicles all reversed out of the Main Street. Once this was done traffic was able to flow again.
