Nicole Turner said she was looking forward to her next events after making two finals so far in the Paralympic s in Rio.
The 14-year old Portarlington swimmer told RTE she was particularly looking forward to the 100m breaststroke next week.
She said she was happy with her performance in the 50m Freestyle final this evening in which she finished 7th.
Speaking generally she said it was unbelievable she was at theParalympics in Rio.
"It's hard to believe I am here" she said.
