The scope of the project includes for the replacement of 8.5km of old defective water mains and associated service connections. The areas included in the project are: Ballylinan; Borris Little, Portlaoise; Erkindale Drive, Durrow; Ballycoolan, Guileen, Clopook; Pearse Street, Mountmellick; Shannon Street, Mountrath; Castletown, Mountrath; Harbour Street, Mountmellick.

To facilitate the design of the project, internal surveys will need to be carried out by RPS Consulting Engineers on behalf of Irish Water in customers’ homes and businesses.
