Portlaoise Gardai arrested two people and seized cash and drugs in Laois last night.
Cash amounting to €1,645 was seized along with drugs valued at €6,200.
The cash and drugs were seized by gardai operating checkpoints overnight.
Gardai posted an image of the seizure on social media.
They said: “Gardai conducted a checkpoints overnight. Suspected drugs to the value of €6200 and cash €1645 seized. Two people arrested.”
