The Portarlington arm of Laois Leisure was awarded the "Overall Leisure Club of the Year 2023" at the National Quality Standards Awards for 2023.
The Portarlington and Portlaoise Laois Leisure centres also achieved the top level of 'Outstanding' at the awards. The achievements were celebrated at the in Portarlington on June 13.
