Returning officer Donal Brennan has announced a correction to the 11th count result from the Portlaoise Municipal District.
Mr Brennan thanked the Pauline Flanagan team for flagging with count staff that 107 votes had not been allocated to Ms Flanagan during the distribution of votes that arose from the elimination of Dom Dunne.
No candidate was elected on the eleventh count to represent Portlaoise Municipal District voters at the Laois County Council local election count in Portlaoise.
The correct result in the electoral area followed the elimination of the lowest candidate Dom Dunne.
Pauline Flanagan will now be eliminated as she is the lowest candidate.
