Laois Sports Partnership boosted by significant funding

Local TD and Minister of State, Sean Fleming has welcomed the announcement of Capital Funding for Laois Sports Partnership as announced by the Government today.

The figure of €362,240 has been awarded to LSP and will be broken down into three sub-sections.

A large amount of the funding, €314,655 to be exact, will go towards Core Staff & Operational Costs for 2023. While €36,765 will be made available for LSP to fund their ongoing programmes as well as creating new ones. The final €11,000 will be used for promoting Women in Sport.

These funds will allow LSP to grow and further promote sport across the county of Laois. Laois Sports Partnerships caters for all age groups, genders and especially for people with disabilities and mobility issues.
