The N80 has been closed overnight at Castletown in Carlow following a collision.
The closure follows a collision on Wednesday at around 4.30pm.
Carlow Fire and Rescue Services are advising people that the N80 is closed at Castletown between M9 junction at Tinryland and Glynns buses and will remain closed overnight.
People are being asked to avoid the area until further notice and follow local diversions.
