A young Laois man has lost his life in a crash in Tipperary.
It is understood the man, who is aged in his early 20s and a Mountrath native, was involved in an overnight collision in the county.
It is not clear what the condition of the other occupants understood to be two females.
The deceased was well-known in GAA circles as a very talented young hurler.
The accident happened in the early hours of Thursday, March 2.
He was later named locally as Adam Kirwan. The other occupants were not injured in the single car crash.
