Gardai have issued an appeal in relation to a suspected arson attack on a house in Portlaoise overnight.
They say the incident took place at St Brigid’s Place between midnight and 12.45am this morning.
“Gardai in Portlaoise are investigating a fire at a house in St Brigid's Place overnight.
Gardai are particularly interested in anyone seen carrying a red patrol container between the hours of midnight and 00.45 on 30th June 2023,” they stated.
