Laois Gardai are appealing for information after a cyclist was struck by a van on Monday.
Portlaoise Gardai issued an appeal over the incident which took place on the off ramp of the M7 at Junction 17 Portlaoise at around 5.30pm.
They said the female cyclist was struck by a white van which failed to remain at the scene.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses or to anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area.
