Mountmellick Tidy Towns has voiced their frustration after a bag of ashes was dumped in a public bin in the town.
The group took to social media this week after the ashes spilled out of the bin and onto the pathway. They are reminding the public that bins in the town are not for household rubbish.
"To the person who decided to dump their bag of ashes into the bin at the top of the Harbour, let me ask you who do you think is going to clean up after you?", they asked.
"These bins are not for household rubbish."
