The Ossory Agricultural Show celebrated its 126th year on Sunday, July 28 with crowds flocking to Coolfin, Rathdowney to embrace all the activity.

It was a chance to experience the vibrant and longstanding traditions of Ireland’s agricultural community as well as a great day out for families and all ages.

The prestigious cattle, sheep and horse classes drew top competitors from near and far, showcasing the best in breed and handling.

There was plenty to keep the little ones busy with the Vintage Truck Show, live music and the popular dog show, amusements and exhibitors.

Photographer Alf Harvey was there and captured some fabulous photos for Leinster Express/Laois Live.
