Passengers reminded of timetable changes over the New Year period
Extra evening bus services will be running on a number of routes operated by TFI Local Link Laois Offaly on New Year's Eve. The bus operator reminded passengers of timetable changes for those out and about to celebrate the New Year.
A normal service will be operating on the 806 Portarlington to Monasterevin on New Year's Eve and a normal service on New Year's Day. The 822 Mountrath to Carlow route will have a normal service on New Year's Eve with the exception of the 7pm service Mountrath to Carlow and the 9.45pm Carlow to Mountrath which have been cancelled. There will be a Sunday service on this route on New Year's Day.
The 858 Portlaoise to Thurles is running a normal service on New Year's Eve with the exception of the 8.25pm Portlaoise to Urlingford and 9.30pm Urlingford to Portlaoise services which have been cancelled. There are no services on this route on New Year's Day. The 834 Portlaoise to Roscrea will operate a normal service on New Year's Eve with the exception of the 8.20pm Portlaoise to Roscrea and the 9.15pm Roscrea to Portlaoise which have been cancelled. A Sunday service will operate on this route on New Year's Day with the exception of the 7.20pm Portlaoise to Roscrea which has been cancelled.
The 4728 Mountrath/Castletown, 10075 Ballyfin and 4729 Emo will be operating a Sunday Service on New Year's Eve. The last Sunday service finishes at 10.30pm. There will be no service on New Year's Day on these routes.
