Gardaí appeal in search for boy in Midlands missing since Christmas Day

MISSING PERSON: Gardaí seeking information relating to whereabouts of 13-year-old boy from Athlone

Jack Byrne is described as being approximately 5’5 in height with a slim build, brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket and a dark grey tracksuit.

Gardaí are appealing for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a boy from his home in the Midlands.

They say Jack Byrne, aged 13, is missing from Athlone, Co Westmeath since Sunday evening, December 25.

Jack is described by Gardaí as being approximately 5’5 in height with a slim build, brown hair and blue eyes.

A statement issued by Garda HQ said he was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket and a dark grey tracksuit. They added that he is known to frequent the Dublin 1 area.

Anyone with information on Jack’s whereabouts are asked to contact Mountjoy Garda Station on 01 666 8600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
