No new squad car for Mountmellick

“Is it a 131 or a 132 we’re getting?,” a hopeful Cathaoirleach Paddy Bracken asked Mountmellick’s Sgt Ingrid Moore at the JPC meeting.

“Is it a 131 or a 132 we’re getting?,” a hopeful Cathaoirleach Paddy Bracken asked Mountmellick’s Sgt Ingrid Moore at the JPC meeting.

“No, we will be keeping our own patrol car for another while,” she answered, saying there was not enough money.

“I am disappointed, there have been new cars allocated to Laois, we are a crucial part of the infrastructure, being between Tullamore and Portlaoise,” said Cllr Bracken.

FG Cllr Moore, noted it was his party that was responsible.
