There was plenty of drama in the month of May as the Laois hurlers left it late to secure their place in the Joe McDonagh Cup final with a last-gasp goal against Carlow. The Laois Ladies were beaten in the Leinster Final as were the Laois Camogie team, while the future stars of Laois GAA and Laois Camogie took over Laois Hire O'Moore Park at the Cumann na mBunscol Finals.
