Take a trip down memory lane to 2002 when Portlaoise was the venue for two nights out to celebrate sporting achievements. The North Laois Athletic Club hosted a dinner in the Killeshin Hotel, Portlaoise, in honour of Anne Keenan Buckley for her bronze team medal win with Ireland in the European Cross Country Championships in 2002 while Portlaoise Rugby Club members gathered in Togher for players night.
