An unaccompanied learner driver with cocaine and cannabis in their system, who was also caught speeding by gardaí, has been arrested.
The driver had their vehicle seized as they tested positive for the mixture of drugs in a roadside drug test this Wednesday evening.
Swinford Roads Policing Unit, Co Mayo, caught the driver travelling at 139km/h in a 100km/h zone.
