A road in the centre of a Laois town will be closed until late this evening, Tuesday May 8, for road resurfacing.
Laois County Council has issued notice that from 9.15am this morning until 7pm this evening, the R430 Mountrath road will be closed in Abbeyleix, at the junction to Market Square on the N77.
It was also closed last Saturday May 5 to install emergency ducting for an upgrade of traffic lights at the junction.
