Women’s clothing shop Trendy Treasures Department Store has announced its closure.
The shop which has operated on O’Moore Street in Mountmellick for a number of years and was formerly called World of Sparkles, announced its planned closure on social media.
“I'm so sad to announce this but I'm closing my shop,” the owner stated in a post online.
“I did try Everything I could to adapt and change over last year but It's been impossible to compete with online giants, and foot traffic has decreased drastically,” the post continues.
“The last few years have been incredibly tough, and I'm so sorry to my loyal customers who've become like friends. It's very hard decision,” they said.
The shop is now holding a closing down sale offering 25% off all new collections and up to 70% of come items.
