The Town Team have been busy preparing the plan the past 17 months

Laois County Council will launch its landmark Town Centre First Plan for Mountmellick on Tuesday, November 18.

The Mountmellick Town Centre First Plan aims to regenerate Mountmellick Town and enhance the surrounding landscape through key projects.

The plan will serve as a basis for future developments in Mountmellick as well as aid the Town Team and Laois County Council in securing funding for the proposals included within in it to revitalise the area.

The key to this initiative is making Mountmellick a desirable place to live, work and visit. To do this, the local community were invited to have their say on the plan in recent months.
