ALERT: Children's clothing item recalled from Irish shops due to major strangulation risk

An item of children's clothing is being removed from Irish shops due to a risk of strangulation.

According to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI), Traditional Craft Ltd is carrying out a recall on their children's hoodie with drawstrings, which are located at the neck of the hood and are "excessive in length".

The drawstrings could reportedly get caught on an object and tighten around the child's neck, causing fatal injury or strangulation.

The type/number of model of the affected product is TI7128.

There are approximately 27 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

Customers should stop using the product immediately and return it to Traditional Craft Ltd for a full refund.

For more information regarding this recall please contact Traditional Craft Ltd on info@tradcraft.ie or by call (01) 661 8575.
