NEXT urges customers to dispose of faulty baby products 'immediately' due to choking risk

NEXT stores are recalling baby products from their stores due to a major safety concern.

According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), Next Retail Ltd is carrying out a recall of 3 Pack Footless Yellow/Blue Zip Sleepsuits due to a choking risk.

The zip may become detached from the sleepsuit, creating a small part. If a child puts the small part in their mouth, it can block airways and cause choking.

The item number of the affected product is 514676, the batch number and bar code are unknown.

There are approximately 28 affected products in Ireland.

Customers are asked to dispose of the product immediately and contact Next Ireland to arrange a refund.

If customers have given any of these items as a gift, ask the recipient to dispose of the item safely.
