Four properties in Dublin were searched by gardaí on Tuesday 5 November as part of an investigation into 29 burglaries in Mayo, Roscommon, Longford, Westmeath and Sligo.

Gardaí have arrested two men in their 20s and one juvenile in connection with the robberies across the five counties.

The operation carried out in Dublin involved North Western Region personnel who were assisted by members from the Armed Support Unit, DMR West and DMR South along with DMR Regional support and members from Athlone.
Gardaí have said that property was seized during the searches which is believed to be the proceeds of organised criminal activity.
The discoveries included a Rolex watch, mobile phones, designer handbags and shoes, substantial amounts of cash, as well as multiple car keys and log books of vehicles.
The three males arrested have been taken to Garda stations in the Mayo/Roscommon/Longford Division where they are being detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007.
