Gardaí in Ireland continue to investigate all of the circumstances surrounding the death of Daniel Aruebose, who would have been eight years old today.
On September 17, Gardaí found the human remains of a child in Donabate, Co. Dublin.
A DNA analysis has since confirmed these are the remains of Daniel.
An Garda Síochána has commenced a homicide investigation into Daniel’s death.

Gardaí say they are aware of "extensive public commentary" that has been circulating in relation to the investigation and are asking everyone to verify any information they hear or see.
Speculation, rumours, and theories about what has happened to Daniel are being asked to be verified in particular.
"Please independently verify any content you read on social media or messaging apps before sharing it," a spokesperson said.
An Garda Síochána is also appealing to the public for any information that may assist in the investigation.
People are also being urged not to assume that Gardaí already possess information they may hold, or that any detail is too small or insignificant.
The investigation team will determine the relevance of any information provided.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Swords Garda Station on 01 666 4700, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or at any Garda Station.
