The latest Met Éireann weather warning map.
Laois has been issued with another Met Éireann weather warning for rain and floods, along with the entire Leinster region.
The Status Yellow Rain warning will come into place from 11pm this Tuesday night, February 17.
It affects all of Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Cork, Tipperary, Waterford.
It will lift a whole 24 hours later, at 11pm on Wednesday night, February 18.
Met Éireann warns that "rain falling on already saturated ground combined with high river levels will lead to flooding and poor visibility".
RTÉ has reported that it has rained every single day since the start of 2026 in Ireland. Tuesday was however a dry day for Laois, with no rain predicted all day in the county.
There is also a Status Yellow - Wind warning for Wexford, Wicklow, Dublin, Meath, Louth by Met Éireann.

"Strong and gusty southeasterly winds combined with high tides may lead to Wave overtopping, Fallen trees and loose debris, Difficult travelling conditions".
It is valid from 11pm tonight Tuesday until 1pm lunchtime on Wednesday, February 18.
