Ballyfin Demesne and G’s Gourmet Jams recognised for excellence

Two Laois businesses have been shortlisted for the prestigious Good Food Ireland awards which recognise excellence in  Irish food, drink, hospitality and culinary tourism. The awards are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year, shining a spotlight on the outstanding businesses, producers and people who champion local Irish produce and help make Ireland a world-class food and tourism destination.

In Laois, Ballyfin Demesne has been shortlisted for the 5 Star Irish Hospitality Experience of the Year award while G's Gourmet Jams has been shortlisted in the award for Sweet & Savoury Producer.

"These nominations are a fantastic endorsement of the quality, passion and dedication of the people behind Co. Laois’s food, drink and hospitality sector, recognising their contribution not only to the local economy but also to Ireland's growing reputation as a leading food tourism destination," say the organisers.

The winners will be announced at the Good Food Ireland 20th Anniversary Celebration & Gala Awards Ceremony, taking place at the InterContinental Dublin on Monday, 16 November 2026, in association with FBD Insurance.
