Laois road blocked after collision.
Emergency services have attended the scene of a crash in the Ballypickas area of Laois which has lead to two people being hospitalised.
Gardaí in Portlaoise confirmed that a road was blocked temporarily in the area after a collision between a car and a tractor on Wednesday, October 16.
Laois Gardaí also confirmed that two people were hospitalised after the incident but that the injuries were minor.
The Mountmellick and Coolbanagher Union of Parishes committee joined by race sponsors, representatives of Greyhound Racing Ireland and the Irish Retired Greyhound Trust at the fundraiser’s launch.
