Katie Taylor, who became a two-weight undisputed world champion in Dublin last weekend, will be attending Portlaoise Boxing Club this weekend.

Pat Ryan of the Portlaoise Boxing Club is a former coach of Taylor as he spent 13 years assisting the High Performance Unit in the IABA Boxing Council. He coached Taylor alongside for dad Pete for over 6 years. Ryan also coached TJ Doheny, who has also gone on to win a world championship in the sport. Ryan is also a former President of Irish Amateur Boxing Association.

Taylor took to the 3 Arena last Saturday evening, six months on from her first professional loss to Chantelle Cameron. The Bray boxer reversed the result this time around as she secured a majority decision win on the judges' scorecards. There are talks of there being a trilogy fight with Cameron in Croke Park.

The two-weight undisputed world champion will take a training session in the boxing club at 12.30pm before a meet and greet at 1.30pm, she'll then partake in another training session at 2.30pm giving those in attendance an experience that they'll never forget.

Taylor will be in Portlaoise Boxing Club on Saturday December 2.
