Portarlington's Nicole Turner has suffered more Paralympic final heartache after she finished sixth in Tuesday's 50m Butterfly S6 final in the La Défense Arena in Paris.

This event was the one in which Turner claimed a Silver medal at the Tokyo Paralympics in 2021 but she wasn't able to replicate that form as she finished with a time of 38.59.

Turner was joined in the race by fellow Team Ireland competitor Dearbhaile Brady, who finished fifth in a time of 37.67. It brings an end to the 22-year old's third Paralympic Games after she also finished sixth in the 50m Freestyle final on Thursday, August 29.
