PICTURES: Laois Vintage event raises massive amount for local causes

The annual presentation night of the proceeds of the Raheen Vintage Club rally took place on December 6 with almost  €10,000 donated to local charities. The popular Laois event held in July was again hugely successful for the club and the local community with a total of  €9,600 was donated on the night to a number of charities, groups, and causes. Teac Tom were the main beneficiaries, receiving €4,000. Additional donations were made to: Raheen Parish Council towards the installation of a live-stream camera in St. Fintan’s Church Raheen; Colt GAA; Colt Mothers and Others; Charlie and Doireann O’Connor, supporting their “Malin to Mizen on a Tractor” fundraiser in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation and the Cuisle Centre; Waterford Hospice, in memory of Kathleen Rowe, a fantastic supporter of the club.

"It was a wonderful evening, and we are extremely proud of what has been achieved through the hard work and support of our members, Families , sponsors, and the wider community," said Chris Goode, Chairman, Raheen Vintage Club.


"Raheen Vintage Club now looks forward to 2026, with our Annual Show taking place on 12th July 2026."

Founded in 2009, the Raheen Vintage Club is now the cornerstone of the Raheen Community. In 2024, through a series of events, including the annual rally, the club proudly raised €11,500, which was donated to a number of local charities, groups, and community initiatives.
