WATCH: RTÉ's Today show visits Laois village this week!

Well known RTÉ daytime programme 'Today' hosted by Dáithí Ó Sé and Maura Derrane will see their presenter travel further afield for Wednesday's episode.

Dáithí will visit Rosenallis to speak with local businesses and local students.

The crew will first pay a visit to Rosenallis NS, and speak with the students who were recently crowned Irish champions at the VEX Robotics national final.

The students will go on to represent Ireland at the world championships in St Louis, Missouri this April. In a true underdog tale, Laois locals raised a whopping €123,325 to pay for the children's travel fares.
