Portarlington is gearing up for a Tractor Run which is due to take place this weekend.
Portarlington Lions Club’s first Tractor Run will take place in the town on Sunday, March 5.
The full details are as follows:
Big & small, old & new; calling all tractors (lorries & vintage cars) to the inaugural ‘Portarlington Lions Club’ Tractor Run, this Sunday.
:
• 10:30 am: Registration begins
• 12:00 pm: Departure (from Portarlington Railway Station)
• 12:50 pm: Return (to Portarlington Railway Station)
• 1:30 pm: Auction @ The Railway Bar
• 1 pm to 3 pm: Free face-painting in The Railway Bar beer garden
• 1 pm to 3 pm: Phat Burger is open
• 2 pm to 4 pm: Live music with Paul & Tom McGlynn

• All participating drivers must be qualified.
• Prizes for best modern tractor & best pre-1980s tractor
All of the profits will be used locally for good causes in the community. Attendees can enjoy refreshments and an auction in The Railway Bar after the event.
