Students from Coláiste Íosagáin who are volunteering to travel to Lourdes as part of the Portarlington community pilgrimage have received a big donation towards their trip. Portarlington Credit Union has donated 1,000, wishing the young pilgrims the best of luck.

"We were delighted to make a donation towards the wonderful students of Coláiste Íosagáin who are volunteering to travel to Lourdes as part of the Portarlington community pilgrimage this morning," said Portarlington Credit Union.

"Their generosity and spirit of service are a true reflection of the heart of our community.  Best of luck on the trip — we hope it's a rewarding and memorable experience! At Portarlington Credit Union, we’re proud to continue supporting our local community and the inspiring young people who make a difference."
