PICTURES: First ever production for Laois musical group 'a huge success'

The cast and crew of Portarlington Musical Society are celebrating the huge success of their first ever production, Exit Routes. The play,  by Liz Turner and directed by Tom Moore, was staged in Portarlington's Parochial Hall on January 24 & 25. As the curtain closes the group has promised 'this is only the beginning'. "Our first ever production was a huge success and it was so amazing to see all of the love and support shown by our families, friends, colleagues, and the wonderful people of Portarlington," a spokesperson for the group said.

 "We cannot thank you all enough for coming along and supporting our small and growing society, we are forever grateful. This is only the beginning, we cannot wait for what’s to come in the future."
