A road accident occurred on Thursday November 28 in Fairgreen, Portlaoise.
The road was closed off from the Mountmellick road through to the roundabout behind the Make and Mark Bar & Eatery in Portlaoise.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene following report of a single-vehicle road traffic incident involving a car that is believed to have driven through a steel road barrier.
The incident occurred at approximately 2.40pm. The female driver of the car (30’s) attended Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life-threatening at this time.
Investigations are ongoing.
