Portlaoise estates set for repair works.
Laois County Council has confirmed that it will carry out repair works at Chantiere Gate and Foxburrow housing estate in Portlaoise.
Speaking at the recent meeting of the Portlaoise MD, Councillor Tommy Mulligan said the entrance to the estates was in "poor condition" and that the road needs to be resurfaced or repaired as a matter of urgency.
Cllr Mulligan told the council that numerous patch jobs have been done on the road but no significant works have been undertaken. He added that the road sees a high level of traffic from both estates.
