"For the past number of years I remind myself at this time of year of ten suggested resolutions given to us by the late Pope Francis in 2014," Msgr Byrne said.
"These suggestions are what I hope to implement as resolutions in 2026. The first two are to avoid gossiping, and to finish your meals," he said.
"The third is to make time for others, and the fourth is to choose the more 'humble' purchase. The next is to 'meet the poor in the flesh', and to stop judging others," Msgr Byrne explained.
"The next one I hope to follow is to befriend those who disagree with you, and to keep my commitments. The last two suggestions are to make it a habit to 'ask the Lord', and to be happy," the Msgr finished.
