The front of the property covers two floors dating back to the 1800's and the main hall dates to the 1970's. The property is not listed as a protected structure. Ground floor internal layout comprises of a large entrance foyer, a meeting room, kitchen, toilets and store. It opens up into a large community hall with solid timber floor, stage and dressing area.
The hall was once Mountmellick's cinema, with queues down the street in 1918.
