Planning application lodged for construction of large residential development in Laois town
A planning application has been submitted to Laois County Council for the construction of a housing development at Radharc Na Sleibhte in Mountrath, County Laois.
A-Rated New Homes Ltd. has lodged the plan to build 44 houses in the town.
The proposal includes the construction of four two-bedroom semi-detached homes, 12 three-bedroom terraced, and 28 three-bedroom semi-detached dwellings. All of these houses are to be two-storey.

The application proposes that the development would be accessed via an existing estate road. It also includes proposed internal roads and pathways, associated alterations to existing levels, site landscaping, boundary treatments, pedestrian access and all ancillary site development and excavation works.
Laois County Council are due to make their decision on 30 January 2025.
