A Laois school is gearing up to bring audience to the world of Disney through their exciting production of High School Musical Jr.
The excitement is palpable in St Fergal's College Rathdowney as students are thrilled to 'get their head in the game' ahead of their two nights of performances.
This performance marks the third year since musicals have returned to the school, after their electric performance of Grease in 2025, and their dramatic retelling of Beauty and the Beast in 2024.

Under the guidance of teachers Ms Vicky Murphy and Mr Paul O'Dea, 48 Transition Year students have been excitedly rehearsing for their upcoming show.
"Students have been giving their all to this, they have been rehearsing choreography since Halloween and it's brilliant," principal Carole Devine told the Leinster Express / Laois Live.
"They have been going full tilt since they came back after Christmas, and have been practicing in their double classes dedicated to the musical each Friday. The main cast are practicing today too, it's all go from next week," she said.
"The community has been great in supporting our shows, a lot of the sears are sold out. We have invited the local primary schools to attend a matinee showing, and most have gotten back to us to say that they will," Ms Devine praised.
"Tickets are almost sold out for Thursday and there are still plenty left for Wednesday, you can purchase your tickets through the school's office," Ms Devine finished.
St Fergal's College students will take to the stage for High School Musical Jr from Wednesday January 28 and Thursday January 29 from 8pm at Rathdowney's Community Centre.
Tickets are available at €10 for students and OAPs, and €15 for adults. Purchase your tickets at the school office, 050546357.
