Geraldine Marum-Crossan- Portlaoise
Geraldine Marum-Crossan, Lake Drive, Kilminchy, Portlaoise and formerly Naas Co. Kildare. Died peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore, on 9th September, 2025. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Ann, brother Raymond and nephew Stephen, loving wife to Mick, wonderful and loving mother to Stephanie, Amanda, Amber and Eve.
Sadly missed by her sons-in-law, her adored grandchildren Oliver, Fionn, Reuben and Caleb, her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at her residence R32W40K on Thursday September 11th from 5pm till 8pm with Rosary at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11am in SS Peter and Pauls Church, Portlaoise. Followed by interment in SS Peter and Pauls Cemetery, Portlaoise.
The family wish to express their gratitude to Dr. Bergin Renal Dialysis team at the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore and the Braun Clinic Portlaoise.
Sheila Callaghan- Portlaoise, Laois / Lucan, Dublin
Callaghan,Sheila, (Portlaoise, Co. Laois and formerly of Lucan, Co. Dublin) September 9th, 2025. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family, in the excellent care of the staff at Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Beloved sister of Ann, Noel, Mary, Ollie, Dolores and Bernard and much loved aunt. Sadly missed by her loving sisters, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Thursday evening (September 11th) between 6 pm and 8 pm. OPTIONAL Removal on Friday morning (September 12th) to St. Mary’s Church, Lucan arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by burial in Esker Cemetery.

Suddenly at her residence. Pre-deceased by her parents Davy & Biddy; Sisters Tracy & Annie; and Brothers Martin and Pat.
Sadly missed by her beloved husband Mick; her One and Only daughter Jennifer and Partner John; her Adored Grandchildren Meadow and Harley; Her Sisters Kathleen, Mary, and Geraldine Brothers John, Tom, Dave and Willie; Brothers-in-law, Sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, neighbours and Friends.

Requiem Mass for Bridget Boyle on Saturday at 11-30am in the Cathedral of the Assumption Tuam. followed by Burial in Tuam Cemetery.
Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on the Tuam Cathedral Webcam and broadcast on Parish Radio 108FM.

Margaret (Peggy) Byrne - Ballylinan
The death occurred of Margaret (Peggy) Byrne (née O'Kelly) of Ballycorman, Ballylinan, Laois, R14XE30 on Monday, September 8, 2025.
Predeceased by her husband Jim and brother Tony. Deeply regretted by her loving daughter Brenda, son Declan, sister Helen, son-in-law Eugene, daughter-in-law Ann, granddaughter Sinead, nieces, nephews, wonderful neighbours, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace
Reposing at her residence (R14XE30) on Wednesday evening (September 10th) from 5pm until 8pm. Removal on Thursday afternoon to The Church of the Sacred Heart, Arles for Requiem Mass at 2pm followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Ballyadams.

Patrick Fitzsimons - Portlaoise
The death took place on Friday, September 5, 2025 of Patrick (Pat) Fitzsimons, Racehill Cresent, Ashbourne, Meath / Portlaoise, Laois.
Patrick (Pat), formerly of Portlaoise, passed away peacefully at St. James’s Hospital, Dublin.
Deeply loved and sadly missed by his devoted wife Ann, his stepchildren Paul, Louise, Derek and Anita, sons-in-law Paddy and Daryl, his treasured grandchildren Charmaine, Mark, Sean, Theo, Eliza and Nathan, his sister Mary and brother Michael, his sons Padraig, Enda and Kevin, extended family, neighbours and many dear friends.The family wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Ratoath Nursing Home for the wonderful care shown to Pat during his time there, and to the dedicated doctors, nurses and medical staff of St. James’s Hospital for their kindness and care throughout his life.
