Áine Bowden - Portlaoise

The death has occurred of Áine Bowden (née Mills), Shackleton Court, Athy, Co Kildare, late of Meelick, Portlaoise, on March 27. 

Predeceased by her husband Frank. Deeply regretted by her daughter Martha, son-in-law Brian, granddaughters Laura and Katie and their partners Neil and Eric, much adored great-granddaughter Lilah, sister Philomena, sisters-in-law Berry, Nancy and Mary, nieces and nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Rigney's Funeral Home, Athy (R14 TX26) on Tuesday, March 31, from 4 pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 7 pm. Removal at 10.30 am on Wednesday, April 1, to arrive at St Mary's Church, Barrowhouse, for Requiem Mass at 11 am with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Rest in peace.

John Dunne - Portarlington

The death has occurred of John Dunne, Tierhogar, Portarlington, peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, on March 29.

Predeceased by his parents James and Christine, sister Alice and baby daughter Anne Christine. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Teresa (nee Crombie), sons Richard and John and their partners Emma and Karen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Maher's Chapel of Rest, Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Tuesday evening from 6 pm with Rosary at 8 pm.

Removal from his residence on Wednesday morning at 11:30 am, arriving at St John's Church, Killenard for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Sadie Delahunty - Cullohill

The death occurred of Sadie Delahunty, Aughmacart, Cullohill,  on March 28 peacefully at Droimnín nursing home Stradbally, surrounded by her family.

Predeceased by her father, James and her mother, Catherine (née Holohan).

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, son Danny and his partner Keelin, grandchildren Annie and Lucy, brothers and sisters Séamus, Maura, Liam, Colette, Karen, Natalie and Michael, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a close circle of friends.

Reposing at O'Sullivan's funeral home, Rathdowney (Eircode R32 NY24) on Monday, March 30, from 6 pm to 8 pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to St Tighearnach's Church, Cullohill, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 am.

Interment afterwards at the Holy Trinity Cemetery, Durrow.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Palliative Care Trust, Laois.

Carmel Delaney - Stradbally

The death has occurred of Carmel Delaney (née Hickey), Kylebeg, Stradbally, on March 29, peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Ted, her recently deceased grandson Ciarán O'Neill and cousin Francis Corr.

Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Aileen O'Beirne, Claire O'Neill, Edna Ramsbottom and Gabrielle Goode, sons Brendan and Eamon, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousin Plunket Corr, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, extended family and friends.

Reposing at the Presentation Chapel, Stradbally, on Monday, March 30, from 5 pm until 8 pm, with recital of the rosary at 8pm. Requiem mass on Tuesday at 11 am in the Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally, followed by interment in St Brigid's Church grounds, Ballintubbert.

The funeral mass can be viewed on the church webcam.
