The school year is rounding off in style at Portlaoise Educate Together NS with two big events this June.
Artistic kids at PETNS in Laois are getting set to see their works in the best light, just days after they enjoy two fundays.
The schoolchildren have been busy creating beautiful art for an exhibition at the school this June. Their school has rewarded their great efforts by getting each piece framed professionally.
"Our students have been working extremely hard on creating wonderful artwork which has now been sent off to be professionally framed.
"The students will be hosting an Art Exhibition on the 19th of June next in the school Halla from 9.00am to 2.10pm, refreshments will be served.
"Parents/Guardians are invited to come along and view the wonderful artwork and enjoy some refreshments. After the Art Exhibition you will have the opportunity to purchase your child's creation if you wish to do so.
"The children are very excited and we would like to encourage all parents to try and visit at some point throughout the day," the Educate Together school says.
The children are also looking forward to two fundays, courtesy of their Parents Association.
"The PA will be running their fun days on the 13th and 14th of June with a really special and different surprise for the children.
"They have also been able to arrange the purchase of giant games for yard time for the children, this was a wish from the pupils and thanks to all your support with the PA fundraising throughout the year this has been possible to achieve.
"I would hope that everyone would take the time to show their appreciation for the extremely hard work and dedication our PA have shown and done this year. A massive thank you from all the staff and students for all your hard work. We really appreciate it," the school has announced.
