The students gathered at 2pm and enjoyed food from Eddie Phelans and relaxed and chatted before Principal Kathryn O'Brien handed out the results to each student before the countdown so all students opened their envelopes together.
Ms O'Brien expressed immense pride in her students, praising their hard work and academic success. She emphasised how proud the entire school staff is of their collective efforts.
"The results are a reflection of not only the students’ determination but also the support of their teachers and families," she said.
"Overall, it has been a moment of great celebration at Mountrath Community School, with students, staff, and parents sharing in the joy of this remarkable achievement."
