Scoil Phadraig Naofa BNS in Mountmellick has launched a lotto fundraiser to buy much needed resources and equipment for the school.

Principal John Murrell has told the Leinster Express/Laois Live that the money raised will be used to 'directly support the children's education' and 'purchase resources for the school, including IT equipment, sports equipment, classroom and teaching resources.'

"The board of Management and our Parents Council are giving the venture their full support," Mr Murrell said.
"We hope that the weekly option of 1 line for €2.50 will allow everybody to contribute. Please pass the word on and invite friends and family. It would be hugely appreciated if you can contribute €5 for 3 lines, and you never know you might just win!" he said.
The first jackpot is for €275, with the draw taking place at 8pm on Thursday October 17.
The lotto will also feature a randomly picked 'weekly winner', who will receive €20.
Those who wish to take part in the lottery in support of Scoil Phadraig Naofa BNS Mountmellick may do so here.
