Get ready to jingle all the way to Dunamaise College as the transition year (TY) students are set to take to the stage with their spectacular production of Elf: The Musical!
Based on the beloved holiday movie, the musical follows the heart-warming and hilarious journey of Buddy the elf, as he discovers his true identity and spreads the joy of Christmas to everyone he meets.
Packed with catchy tunes, dazzling performances, and a whole lot of holiday spirit, this is a show the whole family will adore.
The many teachers staging the musical this year are thrilled with the great interest from students.
The talented TY students have been working tirelessly to bring this holiday favourite to life, showcasing their incredible acting, singing, and dancing skills. Expect a spectacular set, colourful costumes, and a performance that will leave you brimming with Christmas cheer.
The cast boasts an abundance of talent, including Oisin Duffin as Buddy the elf, Eoin Doheny as Walter, Chloe Potts as Jovie, Lisa Swayne as Emily, Caoimhe Fitzpatrick as Deb, Angela Babikanga as Manager, Jakub Szulc as Micheal and Jack Ryan as Santa. 
“The students have shown great dedication and commitment over the last few months inside and outside of school. We are looking forward to seeing the talent of our students showcased on stage in front of their family and friends,” member of staff said. 
The musical will be held in The Dunamaise Arts Centre, Portlaoise on December 10 and 11 with a matinee show on both days for primary school students.
